About the Role
We are seeking a relationship manager to help expand the corporate banking portfolio across Advanced Manufacturing, New Energy, Technology, and Digital client segments. The role focuses on building strong senior-level client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering tailored banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with C-suite leaders to build, strengthen, and manage long-term relationships while staying ahead of client needs, risks, and business challenges.
- Partner with product specialists and subject matter experts to design customized, innovative solutions aligned with each client’s requirements.
- Spot cross-sell opportunities to increase wallet share and deepen client engagement.
- Improve client experience by proactively sharing market insights, trends, and relevant updates.
- Support innovation in client solutions and contribute to the development of new business where appropriate.
- Build and maintain a network of client contacts to uncover new business prospects.
- Manage the client’s credit relationship, including term sheet preparation, credit proposals and reviews, implementation of credit terms and conditions, servicing day-to-day needs, and handling internal system processes.
- Coordinate and oversee the full credit process to ensure adherence to internal policies and banking procedures.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory obligations and internal policy guidelines.
- Act as the first line of defence from a risk perspective, helping safeguard the Bank’s assets and reputation.
- Work toward assigned KPI targets and deliver results consistently.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of digital and emerging industry landscapes, with preference for candidates from TMT, technology, high-tech manufacturing, or related backgrounds.
- Ability to grow client portfolios and lead projects within specific industry sectors.
- Solid knowledge of banking products and experience supporting growth-stage clients in the technology and digital space.
- Strong credit analysis, financial analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and consultative influencing skills.
- Comfortable working in a team environment, handling pressure, and making sound decisions.
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant banking experience, including a demonstrated record in Advanced Manufacturing, New Energy, Technology, or the Digital Economy.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Independent, self-driven, proactive, results-focused, and collaborative.
