Role Overview

XPENG is hiring a Regional Logistics Procurement Manager to lead logistics sourcing and procurement activities from Munich, supporting Europe and, where needed, the wider EMEA region. The role is centered on building and running procurement strategies for transportation, warehousing and 3PL, last-mile delivery, customs brokerage where relevant, and other logistics-related services.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and implement regional procurement plans for logistics services across Europe and potentially EMEA, with Munich as the base.
  • Manage the full sourcing cycle, including supplier screening, tendering through RFI/RFQ/RFP, commercial negotiations, and ongoing supplier performance reviews.
  • Work closely with stakeholders in Munich, regional European teams, and global headquarters to align procurement decisions and execution.
  • Negotiate agreements covering service levels, KPIs, pricing structures, and contract terms while building long-term supplier relationships.
  • Ensure procurement work follows internal policies, control processes, and all applicable German and EU legal/regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and reduce commercial, contractual, compliance, and operational risks, including liability, insurance, claims, and privacy/data-related matters where applicable.
  • Become highly proficient in the company’s procurement and ERP/TMS tools and use them correctly to maintain data quality, vendor records, PO/contract compliance, and spend transparency.
  • Travel roughly 25% to 30% across Europe to meet local teams, assess market conditions, audit suppliers and facilities, and support regional rollout and alignment.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of progressive indirect procurement experience, with deep exposure to logistics categories such as transportation, warehousing/3PL, and distribution.
  • Experience working across multiple European markets is required.
  • English fluency at business level is mandatory.
  • German professional proficiency is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is a strong advantage for coordination with global headquarters.
  • Hands-on experience with procurement systems and processes, including eSourcing, ERP, and TMS platforms, plus tender governance and contract lifecycle management.
  • Solid understanding of compliance and risk controls in a multinational setting, including anti-bribery/anti-corruption practices, EU/Germany contracting norms, and supplier due diligence.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, with the confidence to influence cross-functional teams and manage suppliers across borders.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. The role involves significant regional travel and responsibility for ensuring procurement operations are both commercially effective and compliant across multiple countries.
