Role overview
The Quality Control Officer supports flyadeal’s Maintenance and Engineering functions by making sure internal standards and GACA regulatory requirements are consistently met. The position focuses on active surveillance, document audits, discrepancy tracking, and continuous improvement work to help sustain strong operational performance.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled checks across Maintenance and Engineering activities.
- Confirm that flyadeal procedures and GACA regulations are being followed.
- Oversee the correct use, labeling, calibration, and storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Check that safety and environmental requirements are applied throughout operations.
- Review technical documents such as work orders, defect records, maintenance logs, and material certificates.
- Make sure all records are accurate, complete, and aligned with both regulatory and company standards.
- Spot, record, and enter non-conformities and discrepancies into AMOS.
- Work with the appropriate teams to close out issues promptly.
- Study recurring findings and patterns to suggest broader corrective actions.
- Support internal teams in introducing process enhancements that reduce repeat issues.
- Prepare detailed quality control reports for the Senior Manager.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders to strengthen operational standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance quality.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in an aviation-related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
- Working knowledge of aviation regulatory frameworks such as GACA, EASA, or FAA.
- Hands-on experience with AMOS or comparable maintenance systems.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends for improvement.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
