Role overview
This full-time on-site role in Abu Dhabi is centered on both data annotation and quality assurance for structured datasets. The position requires someone who can work carefully with text, image, audio, and video data, and ensure outputs meet project standards for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Data annotation responsibilities
- Tag and label data across text, image, audio, or video formats according to project-specific rules.
- Convert raw information into structured, machine-readable outputs.
- Work strictly within annotation guidelines so that all records stay consistent across datasets.
- Spot unclear cases, unusual patterns, and edge conditions, then escalate them when needed.
- Maintain the required daily and weekly productivity and accuracy benchmarks.
Quality assurance responsibilities
- Audit annotated datasets to confirm they are accurate, complete, and internally consistent.
- Run both random and targeted checks to validate dataset quality.
- Detect problems such as incorrect labels, wrong classifications, or mismatched entries.
- Share actionable feedback with annotators to help improve output quality.
- Monitor quality indicators and report recurring issues or error patterns.
Requirements
- Strong command of both Chinese and English is mandatory.
- Prior experience working as a data annotator is required.
- High precision and a strong eye for detail are essential.
- Ability to work from written instructions and follow structured procedures closely.
- Good reasoning and problem-solving ability are needed.
- Comfort with repetitive work while maintaining consistent quality is important.
