Role overview
FDM Group is inviting experienced professionals back into the workforce through its Returners Programme. This opportunity is aimed at people who have taken a career break of at least 12 months and want to restart their careers with structured training and career coaching built in. The programme supports returners with the confidence, guidance, and practical preparation needed to move back into a rewarding role in business or technology.
As a consultant, you will deliver services to clients within your chosen practice area. FDM’s five specialist practices are Software Engineering, Change & Transformation, IT Operations, Data & Analytics, and Risk, Regulation & Compliance. The company offers routes for professional progression, including the possibility of advancing to Principal Consultant level and taking on a wide variety of assignments with global organisations.
What the programme offers
The returners pathway is designed to help you rebuild your career using your existing experience while developing new capabilities through FDM’s Skills Lab and upskilling support. The company focuses on long-term growth, helping consultants strengthen their skill sets and expand their opportunities across business and technology roles.
Minimum qualifications
- You should be coming back to work after a break of one year or more.
- You need at least 5 years of prior commercial experience gained in industry.
- You should have a genuine interest in, and aptitude for, business and technology.
- You must be willing to commit to at least two years of full-time employment with FDM.
- You need to have the legal right to work in the UK.
