Production Manager

Role overview

A manufacturing business in County Wicklow is looking for an experienced Production Manager to take charge of day-to-day production activity at its onsite facility. This is a permanent full-time position suited to someone who can lead teams, improve operational results, and help drive a culture of ongoing improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, support, and develop production staff to help the team perform at its best.
• Improve output, productivity, and overall production performance.
• Promote and implement Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain strong standards across health and safety as well as product quality.
• Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to meet production needs and site goals.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a Production Manager role within a manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to lead people and manage teams effectively.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.
• Comfort working in a busy, fast-moving environment with a focus on delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
