Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Production Engineer position in Dammam. The role is responsible for managing day-to-day production operations so that manufacturing work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with quality and output targets.
Key Responsibilities
The Production Engineer will plan and organize production work, coordinate resources, monitor equipment performance, and resolve process-related issues to reduce downtime. The role also includes applying and sustaining quality control practices, reviewing production information to support continuous improvement, and contributing to lean and cost-saving initiatives. In addition, the engineer will work closely with operations, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams, prepare technical documentation and reports, and help ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have a solid grounding in production engineering and the ability to improve manufacturing processes and workflows. They should be comfortable with production planning, including scheduling, resource coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. Practical exposure to quality control systems, standards, and documentation in an industrial or manufacturing environment is important, along with strong analytical ability to study production data, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures. Clear communication skills are needed to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and to prepare concise reports. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related engineering field is required. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, and basic HSE principles in production settings is also expected. The candidate must be able to work on-site in Dammam, handle multiple priorities, and perform well in a fast-paced industrial environment.
