Role overview
GovTech Singapore is looking for a Product Manager to own the full lifecycle of one or more products. In this role, you will shape product direction and roadmaps in line with the strategic objectives of the government agency you support.
You will work alongside user experience specialists and engineering teams to research opportunities, develop ideas into features, and help deliver releases smoothly and on schedule. The role also involves defining success metrics, monitoring user behaviour, analysing data, and sharing updates on how features are performing.
Key responsibilities
You will guide products through each stage of their lifecycle, from planning to launch and ongoing improvement.
You will study market needs and industry trends to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements.
You will translate business needs into product scope, user stories, and backlog priorities in partnership with stakeholders.
You will collaborate with UX teams to document user journeys, as well as the tone, voice, and copy needed to shape the experience.
You will stay involved in the build process with engineering teams to ensure releases are delivered within budget and on time.
You will lead go-to-market, adoption, and usage initiatives that strengthen value delivery to ecosystem partners and create strategic advantage.
Skills and knowledge needed
The ideal candidate should be passionate about using digital products to improve everyday interactions for residents and businesses.
You should be comfortable with modern internet technologies and delivery practices such as Agile methods, CI/CD, cloud application infrastructure, REST APIs, and OAuth 2.0.
You should also understand current digital concepts such as digital identity, data privacy and protection, and two-sided market models.
You must be able to handle ambiguity, explain complex ideas clearly, and influence stakeholders across organisational boundaries.
Strong knowledge of systems and business processes in SAP Supply Chain, or an equivalent environment, is required.
Experience or familiarity with the logistics and trade industry will be an added advantage.
