Role overview
Unboxed Group is seeking a motivated Producer to support the delivery of high-impact brand experiences and events. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys fast-moving, creative environments and can keep complex projects organized from concept through wrap-up. You will act as a central operational lead, coordinating budgets, schedules, vendors, clients, and onsite execution while maintaining a calm, solution-focused approach.
What you will do
- Work with internal teams to shape fresh ideas and develop concepts aligned to client goals.
- Assist with proposals, pitches, and RFP responses so that solutions match client objectives.
- Identify, review, and manage vendors, venues, and partners that support creative and logistical needs.
- Turn creative ideas into practical production plans with clear deliverables.
- Create detailed project budgets using prior experience, industry relationships, and research.
- Track spend, manage scope adjustments, and look for ways to protect project profitability.
- Keep projects on schedule by spotting risks early and reducing the chance of delays.
- Provide regular updates to internal teams and clients on timing, spend, and staffing.
- Act as the main production contact for clients from the initial brief through final reconciliation.
- Communicate progress, deliverables, and issues promptly so clients are never caught off guard.
- Set expectations with confidence while balancing responsiveness with sound production judgment.
- Coordinate across creative, operations, and finance teams to deliver work efficiently.
- Oversee the full production flow, including planning, onsite execution, and post-event closeout.
- Ensure all deliverables meet Unboxed Group standards for quality, safety, and creativity.
- Maintain consistent communication with teams, vendors, and clients throughout each project.
- Incorporate client feedback and work to exceed expectations on every deliverable.
What you should bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a closely related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in event production, special events, experiential marketing, or a similar area.
- Strong background producing events centered on experiential marketing and brand immersion.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced agency setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to create polished, accurate documents.
Additional requirements
- Approximately 25% travel is expected.
- Availability to work outside standard business hours depending on event schedules.
- The role may require prolonged sitting, onsite standing and walking, and lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting.
- Onsite work may involve outdoor conditions and varying weather.
- A personal vehicle is required for occasional local travel, with mileage reimbursement provided.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
Compensation and benefits
This full-time, exempt position is based in Los Angeles, CA, with an in-office schedule Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays. The annual salary is $90,000 to $100,000. Benefits include unlimited PTO, health insurance, and 401(k) enrollment options.
