Descrizione del lavoro

Role Overview

The client is a rapidly expanding commercial solar EPC organization seeking a Procurement Manager to strengthen and lead its supply chain operations. This position plays a key role within the operations team and carries end-to-end ownership of vendor sourcing, equipment buying, and materials movement from pre-construction through final project closeout. The role is being offered as a full-time permanent opportunity with the client.

Compensation

Annual pay is set between $110,000 and $140,000.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full procurement process for solar construction materials and equipment, including supplier price negotiations, domestic content compliance paperwork, upkeep of the approved vendor database, and coordination with internal teams on takeoffs, submittals, and delivery timelines.
  • Identify, assess, and onboard electrical, civil, and specialized subcontractors across both established and emerging markets; issue requests for proposals, compare bids, manage master subcontract agreements, and monitor insurance, licensing, and state-by-state compliance requirements.
  • Manage procurement budgets, spot opportunities for value engineering, and handle purchase order creation, change order administration, and invoice matching/reconciliation.
  • Coordinate equipment shipments to project sites, align procurement schedules with construction plans, and maintain working relationships with freight brokers, logistics partners, and bonded warehouse providers.
  • Maintain complete procurement records needed for domestic content adder claims, assist with FEOC compliance checks, and ensure all purchasing documentation remains audit-ready.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should bring deep procurement experience in commercial and utility-scale solar, including familiarity with modules, inverters, racking, and/or battery energy storage systems sourced from Tier 1 and alternative suppliers. A solid grasp of IRA domestic content and FEOC compliance rules is essential, along with demonstrated strength in contract negotiation, master service agreements, and equipment purchase agreements. Strong project coordination skills and comfort using procurement or project management software plus standard office applications are also expected. Experience with multi-state EPC operations, AHJ requirements, and state-specific subcontractor licensing rules will be considered an advantage.
