Descrizione del lavoro
Overview
Sirv is offering a rare opportunity for an experienced Positive Behaviour Support professional to take ownership of a business unit, operate with wide autonomy, and be rewarded directly for the performance of that unit. The role is designed for someone who wants to lead their own operational stream, grow client outcomes, and avoid the usual administrative layers that can slow service delivery.
The position is open to candidates located anywhere in Australia, including both regional and metropolitan areas. You may initially work from home, with the option to establish your own office later as the business unit expands.
What the model offers
Sirv has introduced a new service structure that supports experienced managers in building and running their own business unit. As a Practice Manager, you will receive the systems, tools, processes, licences, and resources needed to operate effectively, while Sirv’s corporate team handles back-office functions such as compliance, payroll, invoicing, accounting, advertising, and marketing.
You will be given operational freedom to lead the business unit and shape its growth, while also sharing in the financial success of the unit through a 30% profit share.
Role summary
In this position, your core responsibilities will mirror your current PBS management work, but with the added independence to build, manage, and scale a high-performing Positive Behaviour Support business. The role is suited to a self-driven leader who is ready to develop strong professional networks, recruit the right team, and deliver excellent support outcomes.
You must also be willing to represent Sirv professionally with empathy, enthusiasm, and a service-focused mindset.
Experience needed
To be considered, you should bring at least 3 years of experience working as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, along with a relevant bachelor’s degree. Suitable study areas include Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social Science, Disability, Teaching, or related fields.
In addition, you will need demonstrated capability in business development, stakeholder engagement, recruitment, team leadership, and operational management within youth services.
Rewards and remuneration
The package includes a base salary of $90,000 plus superannuation and an $8,000 car allowance to support the setup and growth of the business unit. On top of that, you will earn a 30% profit share based on the bottom line of your unit, paid quarterly and annually.
Sirv also provides a dedicated business coach and mentor, along with full corporate support across quality, compliance, and administration.
Projected earnings for Year 1 are expected to be between $120,000 and $200,000. From Year 2 onward, earnings are expected to rise to between $200,000 and $300,000 plus.
Ideal candidate profile
Sirv is looking for an experienced practice manager with strong character, sound judgment, and a genuine desire to improve outcomes for children and young people. The right person will have already built strong networks, led teams, and shown clear leadership ability. A strong ambition to create a profitable business and a collaborative attitude are also essential.
Work style
This is a work-from-home role with full operational support behind you. You are expected to manage your unit independently while benefiting from the structure, resources, and guidance provided by Sirv.
