Pool Attendant

Role Overview

This position supports the pool and recreation area by keeping the deck clean, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and helping guests enjoy safe recreational experiences. The role is based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, and is a full-time, non-management position.

Key Duties

• Clean and maintain the pool deck by washing, mopping, and tidying the area.
• Help create an upbeat, relaxed environment for guests using recreational facilities and activities.
• Monitor activity in the recreation area and respond correctly if an emergency occurs, following local operating procedures.
• Enforce recreation area rules and guidelines.
• Recognize when a guest should not safely take part in an activity and inform a supervisor or manager.
• Assist injured guests until emergency medical help arrives.
• Collect, fold, and stack towels in line with company process.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management, and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Follow company rules, maintain a neat and professional appearance, and protect confidential information and company property.
• Welcome guests warmly, respond to their needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank them sincerely.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, and maintain positive relationships with co-workers.
• Meet quality standards and follow expectations for reading, checking information visually, using computers or point-of-sale systems, and handling tools and equipment.
• Carry out physical duties that involve lifting, moving, reaching, bending, twisting, and working on uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Certifications

A high school diploma or GED-equivalent is preferred. No prior related work experience or supervisory experience is required. The role requires CPR certification, First Aid certification, fitness equipment-related certification, and any other certification or training required by local or state authorities.
