Key Duties

• Keep hotel public spaces in top condition, including restrooms, corridors, and stairwells, in line with quality standards
• Strip linens and remove trash from guest rooms when needed
• Clean bathrooms, dust surfaces and decor, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Empty housekeeping carts and dispose of soiled linen and trash
• Remove stains, insects, and debris; polish fixtures; and clean ashtrays
• Deliver guest-requested items and help clean guest rooms when required
• Be available for night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled
• Take on other assigned tasks as needed

Experience and Education

A high school education is required, along with at least one year of experience in a housekeeping-related position.

Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate should be organized, able to handle multiple tasks, communicate clearly, work well with others, and consistently help deliver an excellent guest experience. A solid understanding of cleanliness standards is also important.

Hiring Process and Other Information

The selection process may include a phone interview, interviews with managers, a drug screen, background verification, reference checks, and possibly an employment assessment. The pay range mentioned for this role is 17.00 per hour.
