Planning Engineer

Role Overview

Esnad Contracting is hiring a Planning Engineer to support a roads and infrastructure project based in Hail, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on schedule development, progress tracking, cost monitoring, and reporting to help keep the project aligned with its approved plan and milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Build and review cash flow forecasts for the project.
• Contribute to cost control efforts and compare actual spending with the approved budget.
• Follow project progress, spot schedule delays or deviations, and suggest corrective measures.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress updates along with dashboard reports.
• Work closely with project stakeholders to support on-time execution of activities.
• Check project performance against the baseline schedule and milestone targets.
• Help develop recovery plans whenever the project requires corrective scheduling action.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field is required.
• Prior experience as a Planning Engineer on roads and infrastructure projects is expected.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 is essential.
• Ability to prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts is needed.
• Solid understanding of cost control principles is important.
• Strong analytical thinking, reporting ability, and communication skills are required.
