Over-the-Counter Associate

Position overview

As an Over-the-Counter Associate, you will help customers, keep your assigned department organized and properly zoned, carry out duties assigned by the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager, and support strong modular and feature presentation. The role also requires consistent, customer-focused service aligned with Walmart’s core values and operating principles.

Key duties

• Protect customer and patient privacy in line with the Privacy Act and related confidentiality practices.
• Support department revenue and profitability under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Review inventory regularly, rotate stock, and remove expired items.
• Keep the department zoned and presentable at all times.
• Carry out proper processes for ordering, clearance, markdowns/markups, and signage, tagging, and pricing labels.
• Maintain a clean, organized area that is free from fixtures, excess debris, foreign objects, and spilled liquids.
• Help ensure pricing accuracy and zero scanning errors through the Scanning Credibility Program.
• Calibrate equipment used in the prescription-filling workflow.

Compensation

The starting minimum pay for this role is $16.90 per hour.

Minimum qualifications
