Role overview
Culligan Home provides household water treatment solutions throughout Ireland, including filtration systems, reverse osmosis systems, and water softeners designed to improve water quality, safety, and taste.
This position is for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the field operations function and make sure residential customers receive reliable, high-quality service. The role is central to the smooth running of installation, servicing, and maintenance work, while also keeping customer experience at a high standard.
What you will do
- Direct and energize the operations team so they consistently deliver strong performance, quality service, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the daily planning, scheduling, and allocation of field engineers for installation, service, and maintenance work.
- Create and roll out operational plans that raise efficiency, productivity, and service standards.
- Track operational results, KPIs, and service levels, and introduce improvements where needed.
- Handle departmental budgets, keep costs under control, and contribute to profitability.
- Coach, support, and develop team members through regular performance reviews and training.
- Foster effective working relationships with suppliers and internal teams to support operational excellence.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements and help build a strong safety-first culture.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Operations Manager role or a similar leadership position, preferably in a service-based setting.
- Proven ability to lead and manage people, including field-based teams.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to handle several priorities at once.
- Solid knowledge of operational metrics and KPI tracking.
- Experience controlling budgets, resources, and operating expenses.
- A practical, data-led approach to problem solving and decision making.
- Strong communication skills and confidence managing stakeholders.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment and meet deadlines.

Additional information
The role is based in Claregalway, County Galway, Ireland.
Contract type: Full-time, permanent, with employment subject to a 6-month probation period.
Salary is €65,000 to €75,000 per annum, depending on experience, and is paid monthly.
The role involves managing a team of approximately 30 to 35 field engineers and working closely with Customer Service, HR, Warehouse, and Senior Management teams.
