Operations Analyst

Role overview

In this role, you will support cloud and infrastructure operations for enterprise applications, helping ensure stable, secure, and efficient service delivery across both cloud and on-premises environments. The position sits within the USI DT Canada technology and infrastructure group and contributes to application support, deployments, implementations, maintenance, and problem resolution for business-critical systems.

The broader operating model is designed to use USI resources to support alternative delivery services, enabling onshore teams to focus on higher-priority technology and business needs. The Hyderabad support organization continues to expand to provide dependable client-facing support for Canada professionals.

What you'll do

• Handle daily support activities for enterprise applications running in Azure, AWS, and mixed hosting environments.
• Track application health and performance, manage incidents and service requests, and ensure issues are escalated, communicated, and resolved effectively.
• Carry out deployments, patching, configuration changes, and release activities using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and DevSecOps/change-management workflows.
• Support and troubleshoot Windows Server, Linux, IIS, SQL Server, SharePoint, and container platforms such as AKS and EKS.
• Develop and update runbooks, operational knowledge content, disaster recovery material, and standard procedures to support governance and continuity.

Team and environment

The Canada DT organization manages a full portfolio of business applications and infrastructure supporting common business processes for Deloitte Canada. The technology and infrastructure team works across servers, applications, databases, operating systems, security, patching, networks, and incident/event management.

This position is based in Hyderabad. Shift timings are 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM.

Required qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 to 3 years of experience supporting Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Azure App Services, and SharePoint within an ITIL-based operating setup.
• Hands-on administration experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, release pipelines, or GitHub for software deployment.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, SSL certificates, DNS, and hybrid application hosting models.
• Exposure to Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service, or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service.
• Ability to script in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

Preferred background

• ITIL v3 Foundation, Windows Server Administration, SharePoint/SharePoint Online, or Azure Fundamentals certification.
• Experience using Dynatrace or a similar observability platform.
• Exposure to infrastructure as code tools such as Azure Resource Manager or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience supporting enterprise platforms like PeopleSoft, Salesforce, CRM, Cognos, or other ERP systems.
• Hands-on work with AKS or EKS deployments, manifest changes, Helm charts, custom domain setup, and SSL certificate configuration.
• Broad infrastructure administration exposure across servers, networks, databases, load balancers, SharePoint, SharePoint Online, ADFS, and Active Directory.
