About the Internship

Interns will be responsible for reviewing medical records, accurately assigning diagnosis and procedure codes, and ensuring compliance with coding standards and healthcare regulations.

Support duties include maintaining coding documentation, preparing reports, assisting with medical claim processes, verifying clinical documentation accuracy, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to resolve coding issues. Interns will also participate in coding audits and quality assurance activities to correct discrepancies and stay abreast of evolving coding guidelines and payer requirements.

The role suits candidates who can work from home, are available to start between August 5 and September 9, 2026, and commit to a three-month duration. Suitable applicants include freshers and women looking to begin or resume their careers, especially those pursuing or recently completed degrees in healthcare-related fields such as B.Sc., B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Nursing, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or Allied Health Sciences. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and healthcare documentation is beneficial, but comprehensive training will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits

The internship offers a monthly stipend ranging from ₹27,000 to ₹35,000, composed of a fixed pay between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000 plus incentives from ₹2,000 to ₹5,000. Additional perks include a certificate of completion, a letter of recommendation, flexible working hours, and the potential for a job offer with an annual salary of ₹350,000 to ₹400,000 upon successful conversion.
