About the Department
The Department of AI, ML & DS at Marwadi University is part of the Computer Engineering – Artificial Intelligence stream and is focused on preparing students for careers in AI and data-oriented domains. The department works in an environment that promotes innovation, hands-on learning, research, and close collaboration among faculty, students, and industry partners. Guided by Dr. Madhu Shukla, it aims to help learners grow their capabilities and build strong career pathways.
Role Overview
This is a part-time, on-site position in Rajkot, Gujarat, for a Marketing Manager supporting the Department of AI, ML & DS. The role is centered on building awareness of the department’s programs, events, and achievements among prospective students, industry stakeholders, and academic audiences.
What You Will Do
- Design and run marketing plans that support departmental visibility and engagement.
- Manage promotional activity across online and offline channels.
- Coordinate closely with faculty and administrative teams to ensure aligned messaging.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all communications.
- Develop compelling content for social media, email campaigns, websites, and printed material.
- Oversee promotion of events, announcements, and departmental milestones.
- Monitor campaign results and use performance data to improve outreach.
- Develop relationships with schools, training providers, and industry bodies to expand the department’s network and reputation.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar field. Experience in academic marketing, admissions outreach, or education-sector communication is preferred, though not essential. Interest in technology, AI, or higher education will be considered an added advantage.
Core Skills
This role calls for strong marketing, branding, digital promotion, content development, communication, project coordination, stakeholder handling, and data-driven decision-making skills. Familiarity with social media, email marketing, basic SEO/SEM concepts, and analytics tools is also important.
