Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Manufacturing Manager to take charge of manufacturing activities, streamline production workflows, and ensure consistent delivery of quality output. In this position, you will guide manufacturing teams, strengthen operational results, introduce best-practice methods, and lead improvement initiatives while upholding high standards in safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute manufacturing plans that support business priorities and production targets.
- Manage the full manufacturing cycle to ensure smooth production, strong quality performance, and controlled costs.
- Direct manufacturing teams, supervisors, engineers, and production staff to meet operational objectives.
- Improve processes, workflows, equipment usage, and production capacity through ongoing optimization efforts.
- Work with engineering, production, quality assurance, maintenance, procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams to keep operations running effectively.
- Track and analyze manufacturing KPIs, output levels, quality measures, downtime, waste, and overall performance.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, quality, regulatory, company, and industry standards.
- Oversee manufacturing budgets, workforce planning, resource allocation, inventory use, and capital improvement initiatives.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM, and broader operational excellence practices.
- Assess new manufacturing technologies, automation options, and digital transformation opportunities to raise efficiency.
- Prepare reports, performance reviews, and strategic inputs for senior management.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- Postgraduate education or professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, APICS/ASCM, or similar credentials are an advantage.
- At least 7 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, production management, or a comparable function.
- At least 3 years of experience leading manufacturing teams, production units, or operational departments is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality systems, supply chain operations, and maintenance management.
- Hands-on exposure to ERP platforms, MES tools, industrial automation, production planning software, and manufacturing analytics solutions.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Industry 4.0, and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong analytical ability, strategic thinking, financial awareness, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setup while coordinating across manufacturing and cross-functional teams.
