Management Consultant (Strategy / Operations)

Role overview

This remote contract role sits at the intersection of management consulting, business analysis, and visual document intelligence. The work involves reviewing complex consulting-style materials such as dashboards, reports, charts, and structured business documents, then turning them into high-quality analytical tasks and evaluation frameworks.

You will help build rigorous ground-truth assessment systems designed to test advanced reasoning using real-world consulting data formats.

Compensation and work arrangement

The assignment pays $50 per hour and is expected to take around 15 to 20 hours per week. The role is fully remote and based in Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Examine dense business visuals, including charts, dashboards, reports, and consulting documents.
• Pull out, organize, and structure insights from information that combines quantitative and qualitative detail.
• Create well-defined analytical tasks with clear expected answers and assessment standards.
• Build objective scoring rubrics to judge reasoning accuracy and interpretation quality.
• Maintain precision, consistency, and logical discipline in all structured evaluation outputs.
• Improve task-design frameworks used for large-scale analytical benchmarking systems.

Core requirements

• Solid background in management consulting, business analysis, or financial interpretation.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex visual and numerical information accurately.
• Hands-on experience with business dashboards, performance reporting, or structured datasets.
• Excellent logical reasoning, with strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Capability to define clear, objective criteria for judging analytical tasks.
• Strong written communication skills for precise and structured documentation.
