Role overview
Fraserway RV is Canada’s largest integrated RV business, with operations spanning sales, service, and rentals nationwide. The company supports customers in turning their travel plans into reality and is hiring a dependable Lot Attendant for its Airdrie, Alberta location.
This full-time role is focused on keeping the yard, service flow, and vehicle movement organized, safe, and efficient for both the Sales and Service teams.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift and/or tow vehicles safely when required.
- Move motorhomes, trailers, and campers while maintaining an orderly lot.
- Help keep the sales lot safe, organized, and operating smoothly.
- Confirm that slides, jacks, and compartment doors are secured before any unit is moved.
- Support the movement of RVs into and out of the service shop.
- Stage and arrange RVs in service bays and around the service lot.
- Remove debris, dirt, and mud to keep the lot clean.
- Make sure customer parking spaces remain available.
- Transport units to outside repair locations when needed.
- Pick up and drop off customer units within the local region.
- Escalate exterior building issues to the General Manager.
- Immediately document and report any lot damage, including the stock number and photos.
- Promptly flag unit defects or maintenance issues.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school completion or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- A copy of the driver’s abstract must be included with the resume.
- Valid forklift operator certification along with hands-on experience.
- Reliable transportation for commuting to work.
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Availability for evening shifts up to 5:00 pm and Saturdays as scheduled.
- Strong organizational ability and close attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
Compensation and employment details
Compensation is $20 to $21 per hour, depending on relevant RV industry experience and qualifications.
This is a full-time regular position based in Airdrie, Alberta.
