About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Specialist to join our team in the Greater St. Louis area. This full-time, onsite position involves managing the coordination of all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining precise inventory records. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a preference for 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination of all incoming and outgoing freight movements.
• Monitor shipment progress and manage delivery timelines effectively.
• Uphold the accuracy of inventory data and all shipping documentation.
• Liaise with shipping partners, suppliers, and clients to provide updates on shipment status.
• Address and resolve any discrepancies in shipments or issues with deliveries.
• Guarantee adherence to all company directives and relevant transportation laws.
• Contribute to logistics performance analysis and the enhancement of operational workflows.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation is advantageous.
• Demonstrated aptitude for organization, clear communication, and effective problem resolution.
• Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with logistics or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Capacity to handle numerous tasks simultaneously within a dynamic and demanding work setting.
