Role Overview
This position is for an organised Logistics Manager who will own the planning and delivery of site and project logistics. The role focuses on making sure materials, equipment, and other resources move efficiently so that project timelines are supported without unnecessary disruption. You will collaborate with project, procurement, and site teams to create logistics approaches that improve efficiency and reduce friction on site. The role is based across Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and oversee logistics plans for projects from the pre-construction stage through to handover and delivery.
- Arrange the movement, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment across the site.
- Partner with procurement teams and suppliers to keep deliveries aligned with project timelines.
- Handle site logistics matters such as site entry, traffic control, and material handling.
- Spot possible logistics issues early and put controls in place to reduce risk and disruption.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety rules and all relevant regulatory obligations.
- Track logistics effectiveness and look for ways to improve processes continuously.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to keep activities aligned across all stages of the project.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings hands-on logistics management experience from construction or engineering settings. Strong planning and coordination abilities are essential, along with experience managing complex supply chains and on-site logistics. A solid understanding of construction site activities and their constraints is important, as are excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The role suits someone who takes a proactive, practical, and solution-oriented approach.
