About the Role
Aditya Birla Capital is hiring a Location Manager for its Retail Secured business in Bhandara, Maharashtra. This role is centered on driving secured lending growth at the local level, expanding the channel network, improving customer acquisition, and ensuring smooth coordination across sales, operations, and risk teams.
Sales Growth and Client Acquisition
- Spot and act on business growth opportunities within the local market, including channel expansion and the onboarding of new accounts.
- Map the market, identify promising direct customers, and convert them through tailored loan structures that fit their needs while supporting healthy business margins.
- Meet sales targets by strengthening relationships across the DSA network and positively influencing channel outcomes.
- Increase secured lending volumes, manage channel databases, and use them strategically to maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Improve turnaround times by building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders so the channel footprint and customer base can grow faster.
- Monitor and report sales operations and productivity measures, while contributing to a high-performance sales environment.
- Take part in business development initiatives, campaigns, and contests.
Operational Effectiveness
- Balance the focus on both sales volume and business value, including IRR, through the team.
- Monitor SLA compliance, sales efficiency, and return on investment.
- Adopt process enhancements and best practices to improve operational productivity, and also recommend further improvements.
- Review and share operational updates on schedule in the required MIS formats, covering disbursements, profits, NPAs, channel growth, new products, new branches, and new channel development, and communicate the same to ZSM and relevant teams below.
Distribution and Market Expansion
- Build and deepen the distribution network through networking and relationship-building, while considering product positioning and competitive pressure.
- Regularly track the market and competing offerings, and report emerging trends and opportunities in the secured segment.
- Work closely with the DSA network and follow the agreed touch-point management process to improve customer reach and speed up loan processing and disbursement, escalating issues when needed.
Customer Servicing and Relationship Management
- Coordinate with risk and operations teams to deliver a smooth, customer-friendly loan approval and booking journey.
- Suggest improvements in operating processes and technology tools to enhance customer experience by reducing processing turnaround time while maintaining complaint-free operations.
- Respond to customer questions and complaints promptly and effectively, taking personal ownership where needed to speed resolution.
- Use direct customer relationships to support post-sanction monitoring and identify early warning indicators for NPAs.
Risk Management
- Run compliant sales operations and follow risk management principles in coordination with the risk team.
- Ensure all deal documentation and credit administration steps are completed, including escrow account opening for receivables lending where required by regulatory and financial controls.
- Support portfolio quality by adhering to prescribed guidelines and process checks throughout the secured loan lifecycle, and raise potential risk alerts early.
- Identify and report risks proactively to protect portfolio quality.
- Work with channel partners, customers, and the risk team on escalation cases.
Internal Stakeholder Management
- Work with peer ASMs/SMs and reporting SMs, where applicable, to address challenges and support sales growth through better channel management and customer acquisition.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders such as Operations and Risk Management to ensure smooth transactions and quick issue resolution.
