Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site Litigation Lawyer position in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on handling disputes from start to finish, supporting clients and the firm through every stage of the litigation process.
What you will do
- Carry out in-depth legal research to support dispute matters and case preparation.
- Prepare pleadings, memoranda, and other court-facing documents with accuracy and clarity.
- Submit filings and supporting materials to the courts and other relevant tribunals.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and related tribunal appearances.
- Manage active case files and keep documentation organized and up to date.
- Work closely with internal colleagues and outside stakeholders to move matters forward efficiently.
- Offer practical, easy-to-understand legal guidance on disputes and legal exposure.
- Evaluate case risks and shape litigation strategies that align with client goals.
- Support settlement discussions and negotiations when they are in the client’s best interest.
- Stay informed about laws and regulations affecting the firm’s practice areas.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate should have a strong grounding in law, particularly civil and commercial law, and be able to interpret legislation and regulations confidently. The role requires someone with proven contentious-matter experience, strong case analysis skills, and the ability to create sound legal strategies. You should also be comfortable advising clients in both written and verbal formats, handling court procedures, and preparing legal documents with precision.

- Law degree from an accredited institution.
- Admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
- Eligibility to work in Doha, Qatar.
- Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.
