We are hiring a meticulous, organized, and proactive Legal Assistant to join a growing U.S.-based personal injury law firm focused on motor vehicle accident matters. This position is fully remote from Mexico and requires full-time availability aligned with U.S. Eastern Time (EST).

In this position, you will assist attorneys, paralegals, and case managers with both legal and administrative work. Your contributions will help keep cases moving smoothly, maintain accurate records, support case preparation, and ensure day-to-day operations follow established legal procedures and compliance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys, paralegals, and case managers with everyday legal and administrative tasks.
  • Prepare routine letters, correspondence, and internal documents.
  • Keep case files well-organized and ensure records remain current and accurate.
  • Upload, sort, and maintain documents in the firm’s case management platform.
  • Handle general administrative duties that assist legal operations.
  • Request, organize, and monitor medical records and billing materials.
  • As directed, assemble case summaries, timelines, and related supporting documents.
  • Collect and organize records needed for demand packages.
  • Maintain detailed case notes and accurate matter information.
  • Track deadlines and complete assigned tasks within required timeframes.
  • Communicate follow-ups with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and other third parties as needed.
  • Assist with property damage records and related correspondence.
  • Coordinate document requests and follow through until needed information is received.
  • Help ensure smooth communication between the legal team and external stakeholders.
  • Work according to Georgia-specific personal injury processes and the firm’s internal SOPs.
  • Make sure all work meets internal quality requirements and legal standards.
  • Protect sensitive client and case information through strict confidentiality.
  • Support attorneys and case managers in keeping matters moving efficiently.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in U.S. personal injury law, legal administration, legal support, or litigation support.
  • Prior work with U.S.-based personal injury law firms is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills at C1 level or above.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
  • Strong organization, administrative ability, and multitasking skills.
  • High accuracy and careful attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within structured workflows, scripts, and standard operating procedures.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment.
  • Availability during U.S. Eastern Time (EST) business hours.
