Lead - Service Buddy

Job purpose

The role is focused on supporting Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance’s digital shift across multiple channels and initiatives. Since HDFC is the company’s largest bancassurance partner, this position requires a dedicated digital resource to lead execution of the digital roadmap in close coordination with the bancassurance sales structure at both ABSLI and HDFC.

Job context and major challenges

• Build a deep understanding of the HDFC channel and manage relationships with stakeholders across both organizations.
• Spot opportunities for immediate improvements as well as longer-term digital transformation within the ABSLI-HDFC partnership.
• Lead change adoption through analysis backed by data and business insights.
• Bring together business needs and technology delivery so digital platforms can go live quickly and smoothly.

Key result areas

• Pinpoint the key friction points across the full bancassurance value chain with HDFC Bank, with the aim of improving business flow, operational effectiveness, and profitability for ABSLI.
• Develop a strong understanding of HDFC Bank’s sales hierarchy and structure, and use that knowledge to build effective networks with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Run A/B testing with stakeholders from the HDFC sales team to improve the uptake and relevance of digital assets, and encourage adoption across sales teams.
• Understand what drives stakeholders to move to digital tools, including their motivation, ability, and triggers for change.
