Role overview
An established housebuilder is seeking a Land Manager to support its land acquisition activity across Cheshire and Merseyside. The company is financially strong, delivers large residential schemes, and is continuing to expand through a planned and sustainable approach to securing land.
The salary for this role is £50,000 to £55,000, depending on experience, plus a car allowance, additional package benefits, and bonus.
What you will do
- Work alongside the Land Director to develop trusted relationships with landowners, agents, and other key professionals in the market.
- Source and secure strategic residential development sites in the region, typically ranging from around 100 to 500 homes.
- Assess potential land opportunities and prepare recommendations for senior leaders, while helping to progress schemes through acquisition and the broader development journey.
- Maintain a healthy and consistent flow of land opportunities within Cheshire and Merseyside.
What we are looking for
- An energetic, motivated individual with strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting working relationships.
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience in land acquisition, ideally within residential development or housebuilding, with clear evidence of successful delivery.
- A collaborative self-starter who wants to contribute meaningfully to the growth of a thriving business.
