Alpine Business Consulting helps organizations regain control of performance management when reporting systems have become unreliable. The company often steps in after businesses have invested heavily in software but are still dealing with broken reports and inaccurate data. This opening is a permanent, full-time position that can be done entirely remotely, giving you the flexibility to work from your own space while contributing to demanding client work.
The current focus is on supporting a logistics client that needs its distribution and financial reporting rebuilt. As a Junior Reporting Analyst, you will work alongside senior consultants to clean up disorganized data and make sure each report is based on one dependable source of truth. This is an entry-level role designed to help you learn how to configure systems properly instead of merely fixing surface-level issues.
What you will do
- Examine existing reports to pinpoint mismatched figures and trace the underlying cause.
- Import and check data sets to confirm they match the logistics company’s master records.
- Support dashboard setup so finance teams can view performance metrics in a clear format.
- Create practical, easy-to-follow documentation that clients can use after the engagement ends.
- Join online team meetings to review project progress and highlight possible data-flow risks.
- Validate new report layouts to make sure they are readable and answer the client’s key questions.
- Help remove old, cluttered, or duplicate data from legacy systems.

- A foundational understanding of how data is organized in spreadsheets or databases.
- Comfort working in Excel, including basic formulas and pivot tables.
