Overview
An employer partner of Haystack is looking to add a Junior IT Specialist to its team in the Greater Hamburg Area. This position is focused on day-to-day user support, IT operations, and helping roll out new technology across multiple locations and operational sites.
What the role involves
- Act as the first point of contact for employees with IT-related questions and issues across different sites.
- Support the introduction and rollout of new technology initiatives, including assisting with or coordinating project implementations.
- Handle IT incidents, service requests, and change requests through email, ticketing tools, phone calls, and direct in-person support.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective.
- Take care of the Microsoft 365 environment and help improve it over time.
- Troubleshoot and fix problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
What the employer is looking for
- A degree in Business Informatics or a similar background, or vocational training as an IT specialist with a focus on system integration.
- Initial hands-on experience as a system administrator or helpdesk agent is preferred.
- Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Good communication skills in German and a solid level of English.
- Experience with mobile device management tools such as Microsoft Intune would be an advantage.
- An independent working style, strong communication ability, and a service-oriented mindset.
