About the role
This Junior Graphic Designer position sits at the centre of several teams and supports both internal departments and the wider commercial business. The role involves regular collaboration with sales, trading, agency account management, creative, HR, and technology teams. Strong communication skills are important, along with the ability to interpret briefs and take ownership of work with guidance from the team.
The position offers varied creative work, from producing poster mock-ups for screens to developing interactive digital experiences. You will also contribute to social media assets, sales and marketing presentations, email templates, campaign ideation, and other design work that helps the business stand out in the market. This is a role with room to grow and develop within the design team.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the Design and wider Marketing teams to turn content into compelling sales stories.
- Maintain and protect brand consistency while keeping creative output fresh and relevant.
- Support the broader Design team by using Adobe tools to deliver design work.
- Create visual assets for screens, posters, social media, presentations, email templates, and marketing campaigns.
- Contribute ideas for new creative concepts and digital experiences.
- Work with multiple internal stakeholders across departments to translate briefs into finished designs.
Requirements
- A creative mindset with a positive, hands-on attitude and a genuine interest in design.
- A degree, A-levels, or an equivalent qualification in Graphic Design or Communication Design, or relevant industry experience.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence in both spoken and written communication.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; After Effects and Premiere Pro are an advantage.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with Ceros is helpful, though not mandatory.
- Awareness of current design trends and industry best practice.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to manage several projects at once and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfort working in a changing, dynamic business setting.
- A portfolio containing at least four examples of your own work.
- Confidence using Apple Mac systems.
