Role overview
The company is looking for a full-time Junior E-Commerce Manager*in who can help ensure the online store feels as premium and intuitive as the products themselves. The role combines shop operations, digital experience optimization, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Shape, refine, and improve the customer journey in the online shop while keeping marketing goals in view.
- Handle day-to-day online store operations, including product and master data maintenance, landing page creation, order monitoring and processing, and inventory visibility.
- Spot useful developments, tools, and technologies in e-commerce and put them into practice.
- Review performance data such as traffic, conversion rate, average order value, and retention, then prepare monthly reports to support data-driven decisions.
- Work closely with marketing, social media, and product development to support campaigns, launches, and seasonal themes across digital channels.
- Stay in regular contact with customer support to keep improving the customer experience.
Requirements
- Initial experience in e-commerce, online store management, or digital marketing.
- Basic understanding of current digital commerce trends and a genuine interest in outdoor products.
- Hands-on experience creating digital content with an understanding of SEO, including texts, images, videos, and product descriptions; basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
- Confident use of shop systems such as Shopify and experience with ERP systems such as JTL-WaWi.
- Exposure to marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, and Admetrics.
- A creative eye along with a solid sense of visual branding and UX in an online shop.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
