Role overview

This is a short-term Junior Art Director contract based in the United Kingdom. The assignment is set to begin immediately and is expected to run for 3 months on a full-time basis. It is a contractor position, and candidates must already be registered as independent contractors.

The role suits a visually driven creative who can think conceptually about how imagery and photography are developed, what they communicate, and how they translate across different media. The position covers lifestyle and CGI work with a strong conceptual art direction focus.

Key responsibilities

Create fresh visual ideas that feel original, engaging, and commercially strong.
Produce polished creative output in collaboration with other team members as concepts are developed.
Partner with the creative director to shape suitable art direction for projects.
Keep up with emerging media formats and look for ways to bring them into campaigns.
Work closely with creative directors and designers to build new creative capabilities and insights.

Qualifications and experience

A solid grasp of concept development, art direction, and current media trends.

Required skills

Proficiency with design tools, especially Adobe CC.
Ability to generate inventive and distinctive creative ideas.
Confidence in presenting concepts through mood boards, mockups, and stakeholder presentations.
Flexibility to refine ideas so they align with brief requirements.
Awareness of digital media and fast-changing online platforms.
An innovative mindset toward how advertising is created and delivered.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates imaginative and effective creative work.
