Role Overview

CreditorWatch is hiring an IT Support Specialist to join its expanding IT function. This is a hands-on, user-facing role focused on delivering dependable daily IT assistance and keeping technology running smoothly for employees across the business.

You will be the primary contact for IT support needs and will handle routine incidents, device administration, and employee onboarding. The position reports to the IT Team Lead and is a full-time hybrid role, with four days per week spent in the Sydney CBD office.

Key Responsibilities

Your work will cover frontline support, device management, and user enablement across the organisation.

  • Serve as the first contact for IT support matters and provide prompt, practical help to staff.
  • Diagnose and resolve everyday problems involving hardware, software, and SaaS tools.
  • Support both in-office and remote IT setups, including desks, meeting rooms, audio-visual equipment, printers, and network connections.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain Apple and macOS devices and related accessories through the MDM platform Iru.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of devices and equipment, from purchase and rollout through to tracking and recovery.
  • Carry out onboarding and offboarding steps such as account creation, access setup, device preparation, and return of hardware.
  • Administer key SaaS systems such as Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, and Slack, including permissions and user access.
  • Keep asset, user, and process records accurate and up to date.
  • Create and maintain internal as well as employee-facing IT documentation.
  • Look for ways to improve support workflows and the overall user experience.

Requirements

The ideal person will bring a service mindset, strong communication, and practical technical support experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to assist users who have different levels of technical confidence.
  • Hands-on experience supporting macOS devices and Apple hardware.
