About the Role
This opportunity is for someone who wants to understand markets through the wider story behind the numbers. The ideal candidate can connect global events, history, and market behavior to produce clear, useful investment takeaways.
What You'll Do
- Carry out in-depth research on individual industries, specific regions, and long-term market patterns.
- Track major political and geopolitical developments worldwide and assess how they may affect sovereign and corporate assets in the portfolio.
- Support the evaluation of outside fund managers as well as direct investment ideas.
- Keep internal research materials organized and updated.
Requirements
- Must be available to start in July or August and commit for at least 3 to 6 months.
- Students from History or International Relations are preferred, though applicants with Finance or Economics backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
- Should be capable of conducting both primary and secondary research.
- Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office tools.
