Role summary
As an Inventory Planner in the Buying Team, you will help ensure stock is available in the right place at the right time. You will work closely with Product Managers, Marketing, Online, stores, and suppliers to support product launches, promotions, and day-to-day inventory flow. The position also involves system updates, store support, and behind-the-scenes coordination that keeps operations running smoothly.
Key duties
- Build inventory plans for day-to-day operations, new product launches, and promotional activity.
- Create purchase orders and maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Review sales patterns and produce demand forecasts.
- Respond to store inventory questions and help resolve stock-related issues.
- Identify shortages, plan stock recovery actions, and keep stakeholders informed.
- Keep master data accurate, including items, vendors, and pricing.
- Partner with Product Managers on category objectives and promotions.
- Work alongside the Marketing team to support product campaigns.
- Maintain current planograms and ensure POS materials are accurate and ready for use.
- Load new SKUs and promotions into internal systems.
