The company entered the German market in January 2025 and is quickly expanding its footprint across the DACH region. This internship is a chance to contribute to the development of Interpath’s Data & AI capability while working alongside experienced Managing Directors and project teams.

As an Intern (m/f/d) - Data & AI, you will gain practical experience on high-impact consulting assignments in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, or Munich.

What the Role Involves

• Helping with AI-, data-, and digital-focused analysis across transaction work and value creation projects
• Supporting AI and technology due diligence, including review of data assets, practical use cases, and scaling potential
• Assisting in the identification of initiatives that can create value through AI, such as automation, advanced analytics, and AI applications
• Building presentations and converting technical subject matter into clear business-oriented messages
• Supporting project teams in monitoring the performance and business impact of data and AI initiatives
• Carrying out market research on AI, data platforms, and digital trends
• Working with consultants and managers in cross-functional teams

Requirements

The ideal candidate has strong analytical ability and a genuine interest in applying data and AI to real business problems.

• Current or recently completed master’s studies in (Business) Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a similar discipline
• Initial experience with data analytics, AI, machine learning, or digital technologies, either from academic work or practical exposure
• Understanding of AI concepts, data structures, and digital business models
• Confident use of Microsoft 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint, plus good knowledge of Python, SQL, or data visualization tools
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical ideas in a business context
• Proactive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team
• Fluency in German at C1 level minimum and English at B2 level minimum
• Willingness to travel when needed for client engagements
