About the organisation

Role overview

The intern will provide important support for the Programmes Office, especially for upcoming philanthropic events and conferences. The role also involves contributing programme ideas, helping shape and co-develop initiatives with members of the Philanthropy Asia Alliance, and supporting strategic work in a dynamic philanthropy setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed research and analysis on sustainability and impact-related topics.
  • Assess concept notes and proposals, then share recommendations aligned with priority areas and evaluation metrics.
  • Organise research insights into concise summaries and clear presentations.
  • Prepare persuasive concept notes and presentation content for conference use.
  • Coordinate with different teams to ensure speeches and presentation materials are accurate and relevant.
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to gather and track information needed for events.
  • Join team discussions and contribute ideas to improve workflows and strategy.
  • Take on any other tasks assigned by the reporting supervisor as needed.

Requirements

  • Must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate programme in Business or a sustainability-related discipline.
  • Strong ability to research, analyse information, and turn complex material into clear, concise takeaways.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to produce engaging content.
