Role overview
This position is responsible for managing JD Group’s indirect procurement activities across the Middle East, with primary coverage of warehouse-related needs, equipment, consumables, interior fit-out and renovation, administrative purchases, and similar spend categories.
What you will do
- Oversee indirect procurement for the Middle East region, covering areas such as warehouse items, equipment, consumables, interior renovation, administration, and related categories.
- Improve end-to-end procurement workflows, including request handling, supplier identification, procurement planning, execution, and vendor performance management to ensure business needs are met.
- Strengthen procurement cost control by consolidating demand, designing procurement approaches that fit the business model, and using cost comparisons as well as historical spend analysis to keep purchasing decisions reasonable.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships and help build a stable, sustainable supplier ecosystem.
- Review procurement data regularly, organize business information, and contribute practical ideas for process and performance improvement.
