Role Overview

Curam Care Homes is recruiting a Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant for its team based on Navan Rd, Dublin 7, Dublin. This role is focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, with particular attention to residents’ rooms and clothing.

What You’ll Do

You will be part of a team that supports day-to-day housekeeping and laundry needs while helping to maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety across the home.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean residents’ rooms to a consistently high standard.
• Wash and care for residents’ clothing and laundry items.
• Help maintain a safe environment by following hygiene, cleanliness, and safety practices.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues while also being comfortable working independently.
• Communicate respectfully and clearly with residents and team members.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is helpful, but not mandatory because training will be provided.
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as within a team.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness when supporting residents.
