Role Overview
Cypress Skilled Nursing is hiring dependable and hardworking Housekeeping Aides for its Cedar Valley Nursing and Rehab facility in Cedartown, GA. This position is focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Working Hours
Scheduled hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with weekend coverage required.
Key Duties
- Carry out daily cleaning and sanitation tasks across the facility as a core part of the environmental services team.
- Handle the routine cleaning of resident rooms as part of daily housekeeping operations.
- Perform monthly carbolization cleaning of resident rooms.
- Follow safety practices, infection control guidelines, and universal precautions to protect residents, staff, and visitors.
- Keep housekeeping carts and storage closets stocked correctly and organized.
- Wear the assigned facility uniform while on duty.
- Escalate any problems, concerns, or maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a courteous, professional, and appropriate demeanor at all times.
