Iceland Foods is hiring a Home Delivery Driver for the Worcester and Kidderminster area. The position pays £13.71 per hour and offers a role that combines independence, active work and regular interaction with customers. The successful person will represent the company on the road and help make sure shopping reaches customers in excellent condition.

What the role involves

• Follow safe loading procedures when preparing the van, including handling heavier items correctly.
• Drive responsibly and always observe road-safety standards.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and during shifts.
• Make sure groceries are delivered in the best possible condition.
• Deliver friendly, helpful service as the customer-facing representative of the business.
• Support the store team with tasks when needed.
• Work on your own and manage time effectively.
• Be available for varied shift patterns between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Who should apply

• Applicants must hold a full driving licence that has been valid for at least 3 years and must have no more than 6 penalty points.
• You should be upbeat, approachable and committed to giving customers a positive experience.
• Punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines are important.
• A strong understanding of road safety is essential.
