Role overview

Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver in Syston, England. This position is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers while out on the road. The role is centered on delivering shopping orders directly to customers and representing the brand face to face.

The pay for this role is £13.71 per hour.

What the job involves

• Follow correct van-loading steps, including handling heavy items safely.
• Drive in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
• Carry out routine van inspections before and during use.
• Make sure groceries are delivered to customers in excellent condition.
• Deliver friendly and effective customer service during each drop-off.
• Support in-store tasks whenever extra help is needed.
• Work on your own initiative and organise your time well.
• Be open to varied shift patterns between 6am and 11pm.

What is expected from applicants

• Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years.
• Have no more than 6 penalty points on the licence.
• Bring a positive, approachable attitude and a genuine focus on customer satisfaction.
• Be reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines.
• Show strong awareness of road safety.
