About the Role

Cornish Bakery is hiring a Head Barista for its Bideford location. The business describes itself as a community-focused bakery that aims to nourish people and continually reshape what a bakery can be. This role is suited to someone who enjoys coffee, has a natural interest in coaching others, and can help create a high-quality experience for both customers and the wider team.

Both full-time and part-time hours are available.

What You Will Do

• Coach and support the team so every coffee is prepared to a consistently high standard.
• Produce excellent coffee drinks and uphold the brand’s coffee quality expectations.
• Provide a warm, reliable customer experience.
• Support the preparation of the bakery’s food offerings.
• Help maintain strong standards across the bakery.
• Contribute positively to a team culture focused on improvement and ambition.
• Keep the coffee machine and grinder in good working order and calibrate them to achieve the ideal espresso.
• Support the management team with day-to-day bakery operations.
