About the organisation
The Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) is an intergovernmental body that brings together major natural gas exporting nations to share knowledge, exchange experience, and strengthen cooperation. It works to encourage constructive dialogue between gas-producing and gas-consuming countries in support of stable and secure global gas markets.
The Forum’s members are Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, the United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela. Its observers include Angola, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Malaysia, Mauritania, Mozambique, Peru, and Senegal. Together, the member countries hold 70% of the world’s proven natural gas reserves, account for 38% of marketed production, contribute 42% of global gas exports, and represent 47% of liquefied natural gas exports.

- Track and assess the reach and effectiveness of events and communication work using metrics, surveys, analytics, and regular monitoring of the website and social channels.
- Organise and maintain a digital archive of videos, photos, recordings, presentations, and other audiovisual assets with proper indexing and accessibility.
- Keep an updated calendar of events and activities to support forward planning and coordination of international commitments and outreach initiatives.
- Coordinate the creation, production, and handling of communication and promotional items such as invitations, publications, brand materials, and event collateral with internal departments and other units.
