Role Overview
Pratt Industries is seeking a full-time general labor associate for the first shift at its Albany, Georgia location. The position is based on-site and is suited to candidates who can support production work in a manufacturing environment.
Work Schedule and Flexibility
This role requires flexibility to work overtime when business demands increase, including weekends if needed.
Key Duties
- Learn to operate, and in some cases already operate, a range of production equipment, including forklift machinery.
- Carry out manual labor tasks such as lifting and loading materials.
- Follow instructions while working with only limited supervision.
- Use basic math skills and read a tape measure accurately.
- Work in line with safety standards, operating rules, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate with teammates to give and receive work direction as needed.
Required Background and Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required. Prior experience in a manufacturing facility is strongly preferred. Candidates must also be able to pass a physical exam, drug screening, and background check.
Training and Development
Employees in this position will participate in periodic training, with completion and understanding monitored through internal audits.
