About the Role
Commercial Cleaning Services is hiring a General Duty Cleaner in Kingston, Ontario. The company serves a range of sites including schools, office buildings, retail locations, and other community spaces across Ontario, with a focus on quality workmanship and strong customer care.
This role is scheduled from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, at a rate of $18 per hour. There is one full-time opening and one casual shift available.
Key Duties
- Carry out full janitorial work such as dusting, mopping, and sweeping floors and other surfaces.
- Help maintain a safe and healthy environment by cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting touched surfaces.
- Gather waste and remove it appropriately.
- Clean shared spaces, building entrances, stairwells, and washrooms.
- Pick up industry-standard cleaning methods and apply them to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
- Provide courteous customer service and respond to client needs professionally.

Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable standing and/or walking for the full shift.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, lift, pull, carry, and climb stairs.
