Responsibilities

• Offer friendly, professional help to customers at all times.
• Bag groceries and provide carryout service in line with store bagging practices.
• Handle store-cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping the sales floor, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, and cleaning shelves and the meat department area.
• Keep the store neat, organized, and presentable.
• Restock bags at checkout lanes and bulk containers.
• Return items from the check stand to the sales floor and confirm that pricing is correct.
• Assist the grocery department as needed with stocking and rotating grocery, dairy, frozen, and bulk products, and with facing aisles.
• Help maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards in the department.
• Use equipment according to store procedures and standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent, professional customer service.
• Availability for a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong organization and time-management abilities.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Physical capability to stand, bend, twist, repeat motions, and lift 10–40 lbs on a regular basis.
• Current Food Worker Card issued by the Washington State Department of Health.
