Overview
Front End Helper Clerks deliver courteous, professional service at the front end of the store. The role centers on bagging groceries, assisting customers with carryout, keeping the store clean, and stepping in to support grocery stocking and product presentation when needed.

Responsibilities
- Offer friendly, professional help to customers at all times.
- Bag groceries and provide carryout service in line with store bagging practices.
- Handle store-cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping the sales floor, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, and cleaning shelves and the meat department area.
- Keep the store neat, organized, and presentable.
- Restock bags at checkout lanes and bulk containers.
- Return items from the check stand to the sales floor and confirm that pricing is correct.
- Assist the grocery department as needed with stocking and rotating grocery, dairy, frozen, and bulk products, and with facing aisles.
- Help maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards in the department.
- Use equipment according to store procedures and standards.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent, professional customer service.
- Availability for a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong organization and time-management abilities.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Physical capability to stand, bend, twist, repeat motions, and lift 10–40 lbs on a regular basis.
- Current Food Worker Card issued by the Washington State Department of Health.

Compensation
