The Role
This position is about building the talent function from the ground up. You will create the process, attract outstanding people for both technical and non-technical roles, and help establish a culture the company is proud of.
What You’ll Do
- Take full ownership of hiring from role definition and scope planning through job descriptions, sourcing, structured interviews, offers, and closing candidates.
- Develop a proactive talent pipeline by bringing in strong candidates through both inbound and outbound channels.
- Improve hiring quality by introducing scorecards, preparing interviewers, and ensuring every candidate has a consistent experience.
- Support the company’s reputation among tech and AI candidates through content, events, and a strong referral network.
- Work with the founders to strengthen company culture through rituals, onboarding coordination, and feedback loops.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- You bring at least 5 years of talent acquisition experience in a fast-moving environment such as a startup, scale-up, or agency.
- You have successfully hired high-caliber people before and understand how to evaluate talent well.
- You communicate clearly, use the founding team effectively, and make decisions quickly using data.
- You can point to an early-stage experience or track record you are proud of.
- You think in systems and continuously improve based on data; employer branding experience for engineers or AI profiles is a plus.

- Cultural interview lasting 45 minutes with Philipp, focused on collaboration, judgment, and culture contribution.
- An on-site day in Berlin to meet the team and complete a practical assignment based on a real scenario.
